Sex-Specific Effects of Diets High in Unsaturated Fatty Acids on Spatial Learning and Memory in Guinea Pigs.

Unsaturated fatty acid (UFA), including omega-3, omega-6 polyunsaturated and omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid, is an essential component and modulators neuromembranes and can affect various aspects of physiology and cognition. UFA suggested to positively affectEquine Clia KitsKits spatial learning and memory and also to reduce the negative consequences of physiological stress on cognitive ability. Because of obvious sex differences in neurophysiological function, we hypothesized that this effect is related UFA may differ between male and female individuals.

Therefore, we determined the effects of UFA diet on cognitive performance in radial-Y-maze in male and female guinea pigs in relation to the concentration of saliva cortisol, a marker of physiological stress. Animals were assigned to four treatment groups and maintained on a diet enriched either chia seeds (omega-3), walnuts (omega-6), or nuts (omega-9), or a control diet. learning ability of women in all phases of learning three days that tested positive for omega-3 and omega-9, as determined by the latency decreased to pass the test and the number of mistakes made, while men generally exhibit different learning abilities, regardless of diet.

The gender difference in learning performance was found in the control group, with men beat females, which are not detected in the UFA group-equipped. This was paralleled by significantly increased saliva cortisol concentrations in males in all cognitive tests than women. Three days after this learning phase, UFA-equipped men and all women show appearance does not change, while men show increased latency control and therefore impaired performance.

These results were confirmed by real differences in plasma UFA-status, in accordance with the different dietary treatments. Our findings show sex-specific effects of UFA food, General Clia Kits seems to improve spatial learning ability only women and protect men from long-term memory impairment, while the learning abilities of men seem to be more strongly affected by acute physiologic stress response maze task.

Members regulator chloride channel, calcium-activated (CLCA) family, has been involved in the condition of biomedical diverse, including airway disease chronic inflammation such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and cystic fibrosis, macrophage activation, and growth and metastatic spread of tumor cells. Some observations, however, can not be repeated across species boundaries and growing body of evidence indicates that select CLCA genes are highly susceptible to species-specific dynamic evolvements.

Preparation of a paeonol-containing temperature-sensitive in situ gel and its preliminary efficacy on allergic rhinitis.

In this paper, the optimal composition of Paeonol temperature-sensitive in situ gel is composed of poloxamer 407 (P407) are determined, and preliminary studies conducted its effect on allergic rhinitis. Paeonol optimum composition of the temperature-sensitive in situ gel including 2% Paeonol inclusion, 22% P407, 2% poloxamer 188 (P188) and 2% PEG6000, as assessed by the study of thermodynamic and rheological. The results showed low toxicity to the cilia, which allows the gel to be used for nasal administration.  Franz diffusion cell method is used to study the in vitro release of Paeonol and suggests that the in vitro release is in line with Higuchi equation. These results indicate that Paeonol can be absorbed int...
